As a practicing Chartered Accountant, Charles oversees the financial strategy of the business and handles its treasury. He joined the group in 2013 from PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he advised on Mergers & Acquisitions for both private and corporate clients. Charles has advised on a number of high profile corporate acquisitions, including Wallgreens purchase of 45% of Alliance Boots for £4.3bn in 2012; and Permira’s 61% acquisition of Netafim at a company value of $870m in 2011, working on the due diligence for the acquisition and advising on the structuring of the deal.
