about dorchester regeneration

Dorchester Regeneration is a privately owned regeneration businesses operating in the UK.

We have over two decades of experience in the property sector and operate individual projects through a network of more than 20 independently owned or joint-venture subsidiary companies. For further information please contact us.

Across the business we employ over 100 people and have a project pipeline GDV of well in excess of £2 billion across 2000 acres of development land, including 500 retained residential units and around 10,000 projected new homes. Careful consideration has been put in to the make-up of our senior management team and advisory board, which has unrivalled experience of delivering large scale developments. This includes directors with in-house expertise covering finance, planning, procurement, strategic infrastructure, civil engineering, housebuilding, commercial lettings, property management, community infrastructure management, ecology and sales & marketing.

Our set-up gives us the flexibility to work on own-brand schemes through our Dorchester housebuilding arm, but also take on the role of master developer with partner organisations.

As well as building new homes for sale, we also build for social and private rent and currently have over 500 units in our rental portfolio, overseen by our own dedicated management company.

We are open to funding our own projects, collaborating with joint venture partners or being instructed as development managers for a publicly owned organisation. In all instances, we seek to take on the role of master developer and consortium lead, using our own experienced team to manage and deliver the project.

Our business model is set up to maintain control of as much of the regeneration process as possible. As such, we have associated interests in regulated companies covering affordable housing and school trusts. We also go as far as operating all major services on our schemes, including electricity, gas, water, the provision of high speed broadband, road management and leisure operation.

Alongside our operating businesses, we have a number of strategic partnerships with major land-owners, including UK Government departments, and work with them to manage the delivery of major regeneration schemes on their behalf. We also work closely with local community organisations in the areas where we are developing, supporting the local population through partnerships with schools and community trusts.

We are one of a few independent developers in the UK with active experience in delivering major regeneration projects, and have an excellent working relationship with Homes England, the government agency tasked with supporting the delivery of large scale housing projects around the UK.
