Gavin started working with Dorchester as a consultant in 2008, having initially identified the opportunity at Heyford Park and then working with the directors to help secure the acquisition of the site. Following the acquisition of the Upper Heyford airbase, Gavin joined Dorchester to deliver the scheme.

As development director he is responsible for all aspects of land acquisition, planning, and development at Heyford Park. He also plays a key role in helping to set the business plan and strategy for the whole estate, as well as sitting on the wider Dorchester Regeneration board.

Gavin started his career in property development on the Taylor Wimpey Graduate scheme and went on to work across the UK and US business, before becoming Acquisition and Development Manager at George Wimpey City, with the remit to focus on non-London Bespoke opportunities. In 2004 he joined a new team at City Lofts where he progressed through the roles of Acquisition Director and Development Director. In these roles he identified and secured 2,500 plots, achieved planning for 1,800 plots and oversaw 10 schemes through from budgets to completion.
